(More customer reviews)I have to admit that our story is part of this book.We have gone through the tough road of infertility and the terrible news that I could "not" have a child.At the time, 3 years ago, we were told that there was no way I could have a child.I was devastated.I scoured the libraries and exhausted the Internet trying to find hope.There was, and is, a lot of scientific and medical data (dry and technical) but I could never find success stories or personal stories of people also going through these crises.Fortunately for us we found the right doctors and persevered through a lot of testing and treatments and were successful, with much help, and are the delighted parents of a wonderful two year old boy.Through our journey we met a lot of folks in similar circumstances and one intrepid journalist who asked if she could share our story.
I wish this book had been available when I was feeling so hopeless.I wish that someone, anyone, could have told me how much joy we could have by pursuing our dream.Gilli Moorhawk's book "Miracle Babies" is now out there for all hopeful parents to read the personal, human side of battling and overcoming infertility.I really hope this book finds its way into the lives of those who think it's never going to happen for them.Because it can, and it does and it's so wonderful.Thanks Gilli.
