(More customer reviews)I spent hours at the local bookstore browsing through the "Pregnancy and Childcare" section, and this is the book I chose. Dr. Miriam Stoppard thoughtfully educates new parents-to-be with unbiased information and illustrations. Other books seemed to be either too clinical or trying too hard to be "down to earth" or "real". I appreciate their efforts, but I can find that kind of information online or check it out from the library for a quick read. This is a fascinating book that covers everything from genetic counseling to sex after delivery and will be an invaluable guide for anyone interested in learning more about childbirth.

It's a mine of useful information especially the whole issue of what tests to have/not have for the possibility of abnormality. I really liked that the writers understand that not all pregnancies end happily ever after. The fact that they both went through this themselves really shows through.Silvia S.

It's really a helpful resource for any pregnant woman - working out of the home or not - because of the plethora of relevant and useful information. Great gift for expectant moms.
